Palmerston Railway Museum hosts Scoops & Steps Aug. 14

PALMERSTON — The Palmerston Railway Museum will host Scoops & Steps on Aug. 14 from 6pm to 8pm, featuring ice cream, music, dancing and family activities.

The free community event, sponsored by the Town of Minto Cultural Roundtable, will take place on the museum grounds. Attendees can purchase ice cream from Dulce Heaven Café and participate in activities including lawn games, colouring, temporary tattoos and face painting.

Local instructor Gabriela Andrei will lead an outdoor line dancing sessionopen to all experience levels, including absolute beginers. 

Guests are also invited to explore the Palmerston Railway Museum grounds at 168 William St. 

Donations to support future museum programming are welcome.
