PALMERSTON – The Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation’s 22nd annual Starlight Gala was held on May 24. The Palmerston and District Community Centre was decorated for the gala theme “Meet Me at the Mediterranean.” Live music preceded a meal prepared by Winston House Catering and a performance by Always Abba wrapped up the evening. Funds were raised through live and silent auctions of donated items. The live auction portion alone raised about $70,000 to provide equipment and services at the hospital.
