Paid parking planned?

RE: Parking at the new Groves  hospital.

I recently went over to check things out and I have several concerns. I have been visiting hospitals and long-term care facilities as a Royal Canadian Legion visitation volunteer for many years and I instantly recognized the infrastructure required for a “pay to park” facility.

Not only that, the parking area itself did not seem big enough. I know that a lot of people and various organizations have donated money for this hospital and it has always been understood that parking would be at no charge.

I think now is a very good time to get this issue out into the open, before it is too late.
