PACKER, Sharon Paula

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Sharon Paula Packer, who left us on September 26, 2026, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Packer (March 31, 2010). Paula was a woman of remarkable strength, warmth, and a tremendous work ethic. In her earlier years, she lent her talents to administrative roles in real estate and with the Guelph Corrections Office. Later in life, she embraced a new adventure, opening a restaurant booth at the Fergus Market. Paula truly loved this chapter, as it allowed her to connect with countless people and share her bright spirit. That passion for hospitality continued at the Shand Dam Restaurant, where she took pride in her homemade dishes and where she lovingly devoted herself to her work and community for over a decade. Above all else, Paula’s world revolved around her family. She was a devoted, caring, and nurturing mother whose love anchored her household. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her beloved children: Sharon, Karen (Orett 2020), Carla (Andy), and Tanya (Ryke). She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought so much joy to her life: Crystal (Dan), Trent, Ayla, Zion, Tyrone, Caleb (Chayse), Jasmine (Andrew), Ben, Chloe, Sophia, James, Darren (Taylor), Jordan (Mercedes), and Gavin. Paula is also survived by her dear brothers, Ernie (Donna) Edwards, Bob (Bev) Edwards, and Bill (Terry) Edwards, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched. Though she has left our sight, her gentle soul, tireless dedication, and boundless love will remain in our hearts forever. Arrangements are entrusted to the Graham A.
