Other demolition permits approved by CW council
While Centre Wellington officials have concerns with the proposed demolition of a home at 240 Provost Lane in Fergus, they had no issue endorsing several other demolition requests in the township.
On Jan. 26, councillors endorsed recommendations from its committee of the whole to approve the following demolition requests:
- 61 Metcalfe Street, Elora;
- 17 George Street, Salem (partial);
- 171 and 173 St. George Street East, Fergus; and,
- 69 Sideroad 19, former township of Nichol.
The demolitions were approved without further discussion.
