ORTH, Donald
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Sunday, August 27, 2023 in his 68th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Vicki (Ballagh) for 43 years. Dear father of Roger and Danielle Orth of Monkton and Sarah Orth of Palmerston. Cherished grandfather of Hudson. Brother of Garry Orth (Shirley), Sharon Smith (Paul) and Murray Orth (Brenda). Brother-in-law of Dorcas Orth and Ralph Ballagh. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Laurence and Anned Orth, brother Richard Orth, mother-in-law Mary Ballagh and brother-in-law Douglas Ballagh. To honour his wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Donald will be interred with his parents in Fairview Cemetery Listowel. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or the Gord Downey Fund for Brain Cancer Research through Sunnybrook Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
