ORSAVA, Edward

With heavy hearts, on January 14, 2024, our father, Edward, took his last peaceful breath at the Owen Sound Hospital. Born February 10, 1940 in Brighton England. Predeceased by his wife Heather (2009), parents Rudolf and Julia, sister Irma, Brother Albert, and son-in-law Bryan. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Sandra, son Raymond and daughter in law Tina. Grandsons, Scott (Jen), Jamie and Connor (Raine). Great grandchildren Nash and Quinn. Edward is survived by his former wife, Evangeline. Ed had been an active member of the Fergus Legion for many years. Between cards and bingo, that’s where you would find him. Although reluctant to be called a veteran, he found this title very rewarding. The self-proclaimed comedian just couldn’t help himself. Every oncology appointment he was someone else, or had a different birthday. He enjoyed his various trips and never missed an opportunity to go to Las Vegas. The family would like to thank Dr. Sandhu, Dr. Hodgson and staff on 6-1 at Owen Sound Hospital. Thank you to Kelso Villa for his stay there and special shoutout to “A Caring Soul” PSW ladies that made his whole journey easier for him. Ed always laughed at how fast they got his pants off.
