ORR, Wayne Herbert
Formerly of West Luther Twp. passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Dianne (Murphy) for 56 years. Dear father of Cathy Orr and David Potter of Palmerston and Steven and Line Orr of France. Grandfather of Zoe, Margot and Victor. Brother of Iva and Wayne McDonell of Guelph. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Lorna Orr. Wayne was born and raised on the family farm in West Luther where he raised Holstein Cows. He was a member of the Prince Arthur Masonic Lodge # 334, Egremont Optimist Club and the Arthur Historical Society. He loved his trucking business “Orrway” after selling the farm. Wayne also had a passion for his “Allis” tractors and had a vast collection of toys. To honour Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the Crawfrod Funeral Chapel, Arthur. Interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. A public Celebration of Life will be held at the Egremont Optimist Hall on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cancer Patient Services, Mount Forest would be appreciated by the family.
