ORMEROD, Daphne Maria
Died peacefully on May 7, 2026 at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home in Fergus, ON at the age of 85. Daphne is survived by her spouse of 62 years, William Ormerod. Daphne is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Stephanie (Rob) Zielinsky, Shelley Ormerod (Chris Elias) and Elizabeth Ormerod. She was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren, Nathan, Kayleigh, Alexandria, Natalia, Lara and Nadia. She was preceded in death by her bundle of joy, Faith, and her parents Mabel and Lionel Griffin and her brother David. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the entire staff at Wellington Terrace LTC for their exceptional care, dedication and love for Daphne. Everyone knew Daphne by her wonderful smile. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 11:00am - 1:45pmwith a funeral held at 2:00pm at Graham Giddy Funeral Home Ltd., 280 St. David St. S., Fergus, ON, 519-843-3100.
