CENTRE WELLINGTON – For the fourth year in a row a group of local artists are welcoming visitors to the annual Elora Fergus Spring Open Studios tour.
Fourteen artists will be opening their doors on the weekend of May 31 and June 1.
This event gives visitors an opportunity to get a glimpse into the magic and toil that is the life of an artist, officials say.
Visitors can meet the artist, have a closer look at the artwork, ask questions about techniques and even purchase a piece of art if they wish.
“We are fortunate to have three artists who work in wood, a glassblower, a fabric artist, as well as several painters and mixed media artists,” said organizer and artist Grayce Perry.
“We are fortunate to have a wide range of artistic styles, from traditional to contemporary abstracts. There will be something to captivate every artistic palate.”
This is a self-guided tour. You can visit all 14 studios or pick and choose the ones that capture your interest.
