On turning 100
Dear Editor:
Recently, everyone asks me, “What is your recipe?” - referring to my age (100). I hope I can answer.
In short it is something like this:
- treat others well, they may be hurting deeply inside;
- look for ways to praise others; and
- think before you criticize, you are not perfect!
This world needs real loving hearts, so be supportive, If you follow this recipe, you may not reach an old age, but your years will be happy ones. It worked for me!
