OLSZEWSKI, Maureen

In the Arms of the Angels. Maureen passed away peacefully, at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 81. She will be greatly missed by her children; Elizabeth Reyto (Martin), Frank Olszewski (Sarah-Jane), Kathleen Olszewski (Geoff) & Anne-Marie Olszewski (Mike), her grandchildren; Jamie (Elaine), Stephanie (Adam), Andrew, Soraya, Owen (Karissa) as well as her adorable great-grandchildren; Liam, Jaxson, Owen and Kingston. Treasured sister of Jean, Pat, Kathy and Chris, as well as loving cousin and aunt to many. Beloved wife of the late Frank Olszewski and daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Fox) Faulkner. Maureen was a compassionate caregiver, she raised her own family of four as well as being a loving foster mom to many children throughout the years. Maureen was a bank clerk, a volunteer at St. Patrick’s church and credit union in Mississauga, she worked at Meadowcroft Place, she was a support worker for Seniors for Seniors and a Walmart Greeter at Square One. Countless hearts were touched by Maureen’s warmth and kindness, including those of her many four-legged friends. Funeral Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Terrace in Fergus or Groves Memorial Community Hospital foundation are greatly appreciated. We would like to thank Dr. Easterbrook, Dr. Stickney and the staff of Groves Hospital for their wonderful care. We are also deeply grateful to the kindhearted staff of Wellington Terrace.
