Dear Editor:

RE: West Grey officer found dead in police vehicle, Feb. 27.

Ode to an Officer

On a hill far away stood the old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame. How I loved that old cross It was the dearest and best In a world where lost sinners were (saved) slain So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross Until my life I lay down. I will cherish the old rugged cross and exchange it some day For a crown.

Cory was promoted to glory.
