Oakes recognized for support of Elora Fergus Arts Council’s Art in Public Places
akes recognized – A presentation was made to Greg Oakes on June 10, in appreciation of the opportunity offered by him to display the work of local artists in the window of his law office for many years. These shows are curated by the Elora Fergus Arts Council’s Art in Public Places committee on a monthly rotation. The presentation is a batik by Salem artist Linda Risacher Copp entitled Three Rhode Island Reds. Oakes is a chicken enthusiast and has raised Rhode Island Bantams himself.
