Norwell girls hockey team wins fifth straight District 4 title
The Norwell District Secondary School Varsity Girls hockey team faced off in the district finals against undefeated Shelburne on March 1, winning 4-3 in overtime. Goaltender Haylie Smith made an impressive 76 saves in the epic battle. Norwell moves on to Port Dover/Simcoe this week to compete for the CWOSSA A/AA championship. PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School Varsity Girls hockey team faced off in the district finals against undefeated Shelburne on March 1, winning 4-3 in overtime.

Goaltender Haylie Smith made an impressive 76 saves in the epic battle.

Norwell moves on to Port Dover/Simcoe this week to compete for the CWOSSA A/AA championship.

This is Norwell’s fifth District 4 title in a row.

The Varsity boys team is also competing at the CWOSSA level this week.
