No News on Station Road
It’s a waiting game right now to do more work on Station Road in Hillsburgh.
The road across a dam has been closed for a few months after inspections revealed structural issues beneath the road surface.
Road superintendent Larry Van Wyck said a consultant has finished the soil samples, but the town has yet to receive the report.
Not much else is happening, Van Wyck said.
He explained the instructions of the mayor and council was that no more money be spent or any action taken until responses to correspondence were received.
The town is awaiting responses from the province and Credit Valley Conservation.
