NEWTON, Jack Brian

1946 ~ 2023 Jack Brian Newton was born October 6, 1946 in Ontario, and on January 19, 2023, at the age of 76, he entered into rest surrounded by his loved ones at the Wetaskiwin Hospital. Jack is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jean; daughters, Tammy, Tracy (Donald), Rebecca (Travis) and son, Billy (Alishea); grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua (Courtney) Charisma, Paige, Braxton, Brynnlee and Berkley; great-grandson, Mason; brothers, Ron (Adrienne) and George; mother-in-law, Isabel; brothers-in-law, Gordon (Vicky), Glen (Cindy), and Larry (Sandra); sister-in-law, Kathy; best friend, Don and his son, Rob; family friends, Terri, Shawnie, Jaris, Abel and Kayden as well as his faithful dog, KC and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mabel; father-in-law, Berkley; grandson, Justyce; brother-in-law, Mark; sisters-in-law, Vivian and Diana, and niece Cindy. We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Hendriks and Dr. De Wet, as well as the nursing staff at Wetaskiwin hospital Unit 33 who took such great care of him. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
