Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton, right, and Fergus BIA chair Kim Jefferson revealed new entrance signs in downtown Fergus on Oct. 16. The signs are a modernized version of previous historic marker signs that used to be in downtown Fergus. In spring 2018, the township received approximately $54,000 in funding through the Main Street Revitalization Fund. Council approved the use of the funds for downtown Fergus and, in partnership with the downtown Fergus BIA, purchased new signage, planters and pots, new banners, benches and other beautification items.
