New appointments

Dear Editor:

Whereas the Liberals and Tories now think they can appoint anyone they like as head of state as in Venezeula, I hereby would like to nominate for appointment Jerry Dias as the new prime minister of Canada.

By doing so we can save over 20,000 jobs when he keeps G.M. In Oshawa, plus save many more jobs in this once great country.

He then can appoint new union leaders for the Canadian Labour Congress and the Ontario Federation of Labour, where union leadership is sorely lacking.
