NEILSON-OSBORNE (nee LESLIE), Marion-Etta

Goodbyes can still be beautiful. Marion passed away peacefully on her 95th birthday. Her smile radiated happiness. She let us all shine. Survived by her family: daughters and their spouses Cynthia (Greg Howell) and Marilyn (Stephen Boehm), grandchildren, Lauren (Dylan Riches), Rae Brynn (Jonathan Gatto), Emily (Ben Turner), Hannah (Kurtis Wright), Eric Boehm (Anna Lin) and Jessie Purgavie, seven great grandchildren, her brother George Leslie, and his family Sharon, Sandra (Ken Ferris), Graham (Karen), Gerald (Reina Dam) and their families. Predeceased by husband of 24 years Earl Osborne (2020), first husband of 31 years Mac Neilson (1987), and daughter Joyce Purgavie (2013). Fondly remembered by Earl Osborne’s family into which she was welcomed 30 years ago; Kathryn (John Mountstephen), Steve (Linda), John (Susan), Janice (Frank Stokman), Shirley (Rudy Fiebiger), Vernon (Ornella), and their families. Thanks to the caregivers and team members at the Village of Riverside Glen for their dedicated care and kindness over the past six years. Moving in during the pandemic was challenging for Mom and our family, however the outings, music, art and gardening activities offered always sparked her interest, participation, joy and smiles. A private graveside service was held at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Marion-Etta Neilson-Osborne in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
