WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington County is set to host Plug’n Drive’s Mobile Electric Vehicle Education Trailer (MEET) at the Wellington County Museum and Archives grounds.

The trailer is staffed with electric vehicle (EV) ambassadors ready to answer questions about owning, operating and maintaining EVs.

As EV owners and drivers, they have real-world experience with finding and using different types of chargers, battery range, vehicle maintenance and cost of operating and charging.

The event runs Aug. 18 to Sept. 4:

- Thursdays from 10am to 7pm; and

-  Fridays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm.

The Wellington County Museum and Archives is located at 0536 Wellington Road 18 in Aboyne.

Plug’n Drive’s EV ambassadors are bringing the following vehicles to test drive:

- Hyundai IONIQ 5;

- Kia Sorento PHEV;

- Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid; and

- Volvo XC40 Recharge.
