Museum Gallery Concert Series resumes Nov. 10
ABOYNE – The first Gallery Concert of the season will take place at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Nov. 10.
This concert follows the journey music takes from the Baroque through to the Romantic era, with a focus on the influence of the piano.
Judith Douglas will present some thoughts and pieces on how music changed as the revolutionizing development of the piano took hold.
The program will also include some vocal/guitar samples of the tradition of the self accompanied songster.
The concert begins at 2pm and admission is $15.
There will be refreshments post-concert and a chance to meet the musicians.
