Municipal issues need to be part of federal platform
The Federation of Canadian Municipalities wants to make municipal issues part of the platform in the upcoming federal election.
On Sept. 22, Centre Wellington Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj updated councillors on the work being done at the FCM.
“They want to be certain that municipalities are all taking an active part in the platform creation by all the (political) parties in regard to small and rural municipal issues.”
