Awareness - Lions Club International, in conjunction with Diabetes Canada, presented a diabetes risk awareness  event on Thursday, Nov. 14. Mount Forest Lions Club diabetes chair George Laurencic was joined by Barb Sweet of Guelph, a volunteer with Diabetes Canada, at Walsh’s Pharmacy in Mount Forest. Laurencic says the Lions Club has taken on diabetes awareness as one of its pillars.
