MORRISON, John Robert
Passed away with his family by his side on December 2, 2025 at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, ON at the age of 77. John leaves behind his wonderful spouse of 57 years Gwendolyn Morrison (Nee McEwen). He was a proud father to Annette Morrison (Kevin Leis) Dan (Michelle) Morrison. Grandpa will be dearly missed by his beloved grandchildren Ryan (Kristy), Danielle, Kylie and Jaydan and his great-grandchildren Ellie and Barrett. John is survived by his sister Brenda (Merv) Rooney and brothers Jim (Carolanne) Morrison and Andy (Kathy) Morrison, and siblings-in-laws Brian (Shirley) McEwen, Bonnie (Vern) Davies, Joan McEwen and Gary Fletcher. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary Morrison, sisters Linda (late Bob) Blundell and Mary Ellen Fletcher and siblings-in-law Jim McEwen, Larry (late Mickie) McEwen, Wyanda (late Bill), Jackson and Rick McEwen. John will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Elora Royal Canadian Legion Branch 229, on Wednesday, Dec 10, 2025 from 3pm - 6pm.
