More work needed for automatic door opener
It looks like there’s still a bit of work to do on a couple of issues affecting Wellington North’s building department.
On Feb. 8, Councillor Ross Chaulk, who chairs the building/property committee said that under business arising from its last meeting, Chief Building Official Darren Jones was directed to provide the Committee with a second quote for an automatic door opener for the rear door to the Municipal Office.
He added there was also a discussion regarding coverall buildings.
The minutes of that meeting stated that Mayor Mike Broomhead is to forward property addresses with respect to complaints in respect to coveralls to the Chief Building Official prior to action being taken.
Further, the report on coverall type structures or "tents" received as information.
The direction of the committee is to include recommendations regarding setbacks for inclusion within the township’s next housekeeping by-law.
