MooreBand begins concert series with Harriston show
HARRISTON – The Town Hall Theatre here will provide the stage for the first installment in a concert series featuring popular local musical act MooreBand.
The band features Drayton residents Derek and Maggie Moore and their children Bria, Drew and Taylor.
Concerts in the series will showcase the band’s diverse musical styles.
The opening concert in the series on Nov. 2 in Harriston will feature country music classics. The show begins at 7:30pm.
Tickets $20 for adults, $10 for children or $50 per family are available at the door or through Eventbrite.
Folk music will be the focus of the next concert in the series, to be held Jan. 18 at the Norgan Theatre in Palmerston.
Future concerts are planned:
- Feb. 14 at the Harriston Town Hall Theatre with a duos and duets theme;
- March 17 at the Palmerston Legion focusing on Irish music; and
- April 5 at the Grand Theatre in Fergus with a British Invasion theme.
