Moment of silence held by councillors in memory of former mayor Brad Whitcombe
It was a sombre beginning for council on Nov. 19, as a moment’s silence was held to reflect on the loss of former mayor Brad Whitcombe.
Current Mayor Dennis Lever stated, “Brad was committed to doing what he believed was best for the community as he served its residents for many years.
“His sudden passing was a shock to all of us.”
Lever asked all those present for a moment of silence to remember Whitcombe.
