Mohawks Alumni donate to Groves Hospital Foundation

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Members of the Mohawks Alumni stopped by Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Oct. 7 to present a $5,000 donation to the Groves Hospital Foundation. The Mohawks Alumni host various events throughout the year to raise funds for local causes. This year’s events included a Waddies tournament, golf tournament and euchre tournament. The group decided to donate to Groves this year as the hospital foundation has been asked to raise $2.7 million to meet the hospital’s ongoing needs.
