Donations – The Mission Bible Thrift Store in Fergus celebrated its 10th anniversary on Nov. 5, along with the fact it has donated $1.5 million to the Canadian Bible League over those years, which is used for mission work in developing countries.

From left, Jonathon Catania, chief financial officer for the Bibles for Missions Foundation, hands a plaque to Sikkema and store manager Doug Calder, noting that none of the funds could have been raised without the work of some 60 volunteers who man the store. Calder said on top of the funds raised, the Fergus store supports local charities like the Centre Wellington Food Bank and people living in poverty.
