Minto Redneck Games seeks council participation
Mayor David Anderson is prepared to paint the town red - or in Minto’s case - redneck.
As volunteers gear up for the annual Minto Redneck Games from June 26 to 28, Anderson encouraged council to again participate in the Saturday parade.
He cited past participation in the event. “I think we should be putting another entry in the parade.”
He said there are a couple of neat ideas that cropped up last year that could also be considered.
Anderson said organizers are still looking for a mud volleyball team.
“We had a great time last year and had a lot of fun. As the town is hosting the Redneck Games, we should put another team in.”
