People took part in skating during the Minto Fire and Ice Family New Year's Celebrations on Dec. 31.

Drumming up some fun - Youngsters make some music with the help of a roving drummer at the fourth annual Minto Fire and Ice Family New Year’s Celebration on Dec. 31 in Palmerston.

Sled dogs were happy to greet people at the Minto Fire and Ice New Year’s celebration in Palmerston on Dec. 31.

Fire shows both inside and outside the arena entertained the crowds.

Hockey fun was included in the fun of the 'Fire and Ice' event.
