Minto Arts Council hosts Christmas Show and Sale
HARRISTON - Minto Arts Council is holding its fundraising Christmas Show and Silent Auction from Nov. 7 to Dec. 7.
Ladies shopping night is Nov. 20 from 4 to 8pm.
“This is a fun opportunity to buy Christmas gifts in advance or something for yourself, while supporting the arts and local art students in your community,” organizers say.
The “vibrant art scene” in Minto includes a film series at the Norgan in Palmerston through the Film Circuit division of the Toronto International Film Festival every third Monday from September to May (except December) at 7:15pm as well as the Basement Café concert series held downstairs at the Harriston library.
“To the many businesses and individuals in Minto who generously provide gifts and financial donations, we thank you once again,” officials state. “We couldn’t do it without your support.”
The auction closes December 7st at 1pm.

The Christmas Gallery is located at the Harriston library at 88 Mill St.
The Christmas Gallery hours are:
- Tuesday: 6 to 8pm;
- Wednesday: 2 to 8pm;
- Thursday: 6 to 8pm;
- Friday: 2 to 6pm; and
- Saturday: 11am to 3pm
