Minto Arts Council holds silent auction
HARRISTON - The Minto Arts Council is hosting its annual Christmas Silent Auction.
The silent auction takes place from Nov. 15 to Dec. 3.
Ladies’ Night will be hosted on Nov. 16 from 4 to 8pm.
The annual fundraiser for the Minto Arts Council is “crucial not only to run the art gallery at the Harriston library but supports the arts in general as well as providing a forum for all arts-oriented youth,” officials state.
“Come out and support your community, interact with friends, while shortening your Christmas gift list,” the council urges.
Businesses and individuals have contributed to the silent auction either by donating gifts to be auctioned or by providing financial support.
“We thank all of you and hope to see those who want to see the arts thrive in Minto come out and enjoy the 2022 silent auction,” officials state.
The schedule for viewing items and bidding at the Minto Arts Gallery is:
- Tuesdays: 6 to 8pm;
- Wednesdays: 2 to 4pm;
-Thursdays: 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm;
- Fridays: 2 to 6pm;
- Saturdays: 10am to 2pm.
The auction closes on Dec. 3 at 1pm.
