Metz Giant Pumpkin Challenge weigh-in celebration on Sept. 25
METZ – The 2021 Metz Community Giant Pumpkin and Zucchini challenge wraps up with a weigh-in celebration on Sept. 25.
From 2 to 4pm participants will weigh in with their pumpkins and from 4 to 7pm food and fun with friends is on the schedule.
Events include children’s activities and firing of the “Pumpkin Cannon.”
Food (hot dogs and hamburgers) is supplied or visitors can bring their own, organizers note.
The outdoor event will be held rain or shine.
