Meeting minutes more than a little tardy
Suggesting minutes from Wellington North committees are a bit tardy is an understatement - considering some of them date to February.
Early at the Sept. 14 council meeting as council adopted minutes from the economic development committee for April and August meetings, and councillor Dan Yake commented, “A little tardy with the minutes aren’t we, Mr. Chairman?”
Mayor Broomhead said that will be investigated.
Yake said he was at the April meeting and had forgotten happened.
Council approved the minutes anyway.
However, those minutes were not the only ones dating back more than a month.
The fire committee itself was not that bad, with minutes back to July and August; however the building and property committee sent in reports for its meetings from February, April, May, June, July, and August.
