Medieval Tournament and Faire a hit

Blacksmith Ryan Leis demonstrated his craft in the forest area of the faire, mostly creating “trinkets,” as he said that’s what was selling the best.

Andrew, left, and Lesya were part of the cast for the faire. Andrew said he makes his own armour in his garage by hammering out metal, and puts it to use when practicing historical European martial arts.

“Vivica Bergen” thrusts her spear against a guard’s shield, as part of one of the challenges in the tournament of mounted combat.

“Sir Thomas de la Pole,” also known as “The Sheriff,” focuses on collecting rings on his spear as his horse gallops onward.
