MCLUHAN, Joan

Peacefully at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jim McLuhan (2014). Predeceased by her daughter Deb McLuhan (2010), her parents Irene and Clarence Rolston, and her sister Doris Marchant. Joan is survived by her beloved cat Samantha, her brother Arnold, sister-in-law Shirley Rolston, her nieces and nephews: Mitch Marchant and his partner Theresa, Randy Marchant and his wife Alison, Kathy Wiltshire and her husband Lorne, Kim Lanka and her husband Roland and their families. Joan will be missed by her many friends. Joan’s family would like to thank all those who helped Joan along her path, including Tim, Nancy, Ruth, Blondie and many others, she very much loved you all. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joan are asked to consider the Royal Canadian Legion – Mount Forest, Branch 134 or the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.
