MCLAUGHLIN, Daniel
Passed away suddenly at home on December 29, 2018. Born in Kirkintilloch, Scotland, Dan called Fergus home for the past 30 years. He will be remembered fondly by the many people he befriended as Publican of the Highlander Inn. Predeceased by his wife Rachael (2016). Loving father of Marie, Daniel (Marzena), Katherine (Richard), Joseph, Gerard, Christine (Kevin), Eileen (Jamie) and Patrick (Joanne). Papa to Michael, Jessica, Matt, Paul, Sandy, Callum and Teagan. Dan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and siblings Harry, Mary, Cathie and Jim Kelly. Family and friends visited at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Friday January 4th, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Memorial donations may be made in Daniel’s memory to the Centre Wellington Food Bank. Cards available at the funeral home.
