McINTOSH, Ernest (Ernie)
It is with great heartbreak that Ernest (Ernie) McIntosh was taken from us suddenly, on Friday, July 28th, 2023 in his 53rd year. Born in Proton Township, to Alice and the late Delmar McIntosh. Ernie is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rachel (Kenwell), and his daughter Chantel. He was a long-term employee of Cargill (Better Beef) in Guelph. Ernie is also survived by his brothers John, Wayne (Kim,) Murray, and Jason (Angie), his sisters Susan Seifried (Brian), Rose McGuire (Matt), and Daisy McIntosh (Ryan), his brother-in-law’s Mike Kenwell (Shelley), Doug Kenwell (Vicki), his father-in-law Edward Kenwell, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother-in-law Linda and sister-in-law Shelia. Ernie loved to spend time with his family and also enjoyed camping with his friends. Ernie was very fortunate to have a wonderful group of best friends who were always there for each other. A special mention to our dear friends Judith and Kirk Myers, and Gary and Christine Scott; our family would not have been able to get through the last few days without you. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Conn pavilion, 15 Wood Street, Conn on Saturday, August 5th from noon until 5. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rachel and Chantel would be appreciated.
