McGLADREY, Bruce Thomas

Of Kitchener passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 55, after a lengthy stay in St. Mary’s hospital. He was predeceased by his mom, Jean, in 2012 and dad, Tom, in 2021. He will be sadly missed by his best friend Brenda Haddock, sister Sharon Quiring and brother-in-law Jay as well as his nephew Ross and niece Jessie (Tyler). Bruce was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed spending time working on cars and equipment at the family farm in Guelph Eramosa. He had many interests and over the years was a University of Guelph graduate, a farmer, a baker, a factory worker, and he operated his own used car lot in Guelph. He enjoyed the company of his beloved cats and they helped cheer him as he suffered through a life filled with major health issues. He did his best to keep his great sense of humour active and his easy laugh and quick wit will be missed. His family said goodbye privately at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph (519-822-0051 /www.wallcustance.com). Burial took place at Eramosa Union (Johnson) Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Bruce T. McGladrey in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
