MCDONOUGH, John Arthur
of Arthur passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in 73rd year. Dear father of Donna and Jerome Dietrich of Alma and Jon McDonough and Tammy Anderson of Fergus. Grandfather of Alexander, Nicole, and Caden. Son of the late John and Mary Edna McDonough. Brother of Pauline Baker (the late Sonny), Gloria (Stefan) Schader, twin sister Linda Halley (the late Norm), the late Francis McDonough “Fin” (Brenda), Heather (Fred) Ball, and the late Cynthia Conrad (Murray). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. John worked at Nexans for over 25 years and loved to curl. A private family service was held in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur followed by interment in St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
