Suzanne passed away quietly on Friday May 7 at Wellington Terrace (Fergus), with family at her side. Beloved wife of 52 years to Vern. Loving mother of Shannon (Mark), Kelly (Chris) and Steve (Katie) and “Gram” to Niall, Paige, Jack, Rowan, Rhys, Charlie and Ben who were her light. Nurse, Optometric Assistant, rug hooker, sailor, gardener, avid cottager, friend to many, and chocolate chip cookie and pie maker extraordinaire. Suzanne was passionate about life, found endless joy in her grandchildren, and was always there to support her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her. The family would like to thank Wellington Terrace and the staff at Oak Glen for all their wonderful care and support over the past few years. Words cannot express our gratitude. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Any donations are requested to be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada. Arrangements are entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus.
