McCAW, Donna
With great sadness the family of Donna McCaw announce her passing on September 17th. She will be missed by her son Arthur Doney (Jasper Morris); sister Janie McCaw; brother Jim McCaw (Sandy McCaw) and daughter Shauna Parr (Meg Rapelye) children Harrison and Elly; brother George McCaw (Sue McCaw) son Scott McCaw (Jordie Merini) children Jamie and Lucy, daughter Jenna McCaw (James Tennant). With thanks to Grove Hospital, Guelph General Hospital and a special thanks to Hospice Wellington. Donna, born a farm girl, was a teacher, mentor, storyteller, writer, world traveller, prolific volunteer and activist who won the Senator 150th award for her work with Save Our Water. Donna was kind, curious, and intelligent as she blazed through life. Embraced by her community for her love of people and her passions for all things creative and political. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her. Donna lived with laughter and compassion for others. Please join us for a Celebration of Life October 5th, 4:30pm - 7:30pm at the Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville Street, Elora. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation for the Centre Wellington Community Foundation.
