MAY, Florence (nee: Bridge)
Passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Hospice Wellington at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Elwin May (2021). Loving mother of Joanne May- Riel, Ron and Heidi May and Chris May. Cherished grandmother of Andrew Wolf, Victoria, Jasmine, Anika and Kyle. Dear sister of Fred Bridge (predeceased), Joyce Bridge, Dianne (John) Martin and Kathy Bridge. Florence and Elwin were married on September 29, 1962. Together they raised a family and were partners of Harrow Manufacturing business, “May-Bridge Harrows”. Florence was family oriented, which influenced her keen interest in archiving her family tree. She was a long-time member and supporter of the Women’s Institute. A small private graveside service will be held at McKee Cemetery, Belwood with a larger public gathering in the near future. Memorial donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital or St. Johns United, Belwood.
