MATTHEWS, Anthony

of Palmerston, formerly of Stoney Creek, passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace in Palmerston on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in his 70th year. Dear father of Tony and Candace Matthews of Drayton and the late Andrea Matthews (2014). Proud Papa T of Logan, Brody and Lexi.  Brother of Sylvia and Jim Sixsmith of Burlington, Sondra and Roy Hlohinec of Stoney Creek, the late Cynthia Matthews, and Guy Matthews of Vancouver. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Anthony’s last few years were made more enjoyable by the love and friendship that he shared with Margaret Delaney. There will be a private family service in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
