MATHERS, Alma (née Wilson)

A long-time resident of Mount Forest, passed away peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Care on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 in her 104th year. She was predeceased by her husbands Robert Bentley and Emerson Mathers; three brothers, Jack, Donald and Harold; two sons, Douglas, and Donald and his wife Anne; and her parents, Dan and Nita (née Hill) Wilson. She is survived by her sister Marie, son Robert Bentley and husband William Sze-To, daughter Bonnie Bradley and husband Don, daughter-in-law Marilyn Bentley and step-children Shirley Corbett, Gweneth Davey, Bernice Robson and John Mathers and their spouses. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Donald, Chris, Debbie, Thomas and Judy and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her many friends in Mount Forest and by her family. The family would like to thank Strathcona Long Term Care for the excellent care and attention that Mom received during her time there. A memorial service will be held when circumstances permit. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Alma are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
