MAST, Shirley Marie (nee Howard)
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Mast, 93, due to complications from pneumonia on Friday February 25 at Guelph General Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband Edwin of 70 years and her children: Susan, Lauralea and Jeffrey and her grandchildren: Nicole, Gavin, Heather and Paul. Shirley was the oldest daughter of Sam and Violet Howard and is survived by her brothers and sisters: Jim, Bruce, Mary, Doreen and Karen. Shirley was known for her love of crafting and cooking and took great joy in creating and gifting items - quilts, knitted sweaters, canned goods and the occasional sock to friends and family. We miss her deeply. The love we have for her is endless and will carry us though this, the saddest of times. Rest In Peace. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Diabetes Canada.
