MASON, Barry W.
of Puslinch, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, with family by his side, on Wednesday January 2nd 2019 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 55 years to Karen. Loved father of Kerry and Jennifer Mason. Cherished grandfather of Mason, Taylor and Jordan. Predeceased by his brother Ken (Helen) Mason. Will be dearly missed by his niece Michelle Cairns, and many extended family and good friends within the Wellington community. One of Barry’s passions was Standard bred horse racing and horse breeding. He was often found Saturday nights meeting with fellow friends/horsemen at the track to laugh, chat, and gossip. His many passions were his hobby farm, helping his fellow neighbours bring in the hay, animals, and steam locomotives. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mini Lakes Pavilion, Wellington Rd. 34, Gate 3 on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel. In lieu of flowers please make any Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
