MARTIN, Salome
Passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Melvin Martin of RR#1 Mount Forest. Loving mother of John and Alice Martin, Erma Martin, Jason and Wilma Martin, all of RR#1 Mount Forest, Esther and Stephen Bowman of RR#1 Holstein, and Ruth, Irene and Floyd at home. Grandmother of 17 grandchildren. Survived by siblings Aden and Elvina of Elmira, brother-in-law Ira Martin of Linwood, Delton and Katie of Harriston, sister-in-law Lydiann Bearinger of Wallenstein, Eileen and Joseph Gingrich of Holstein, sister-in-law Anna Bearinger of Wallenstein, and Perceda and James Weber of Mount Forest. Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Hannah (Martin) Bearinger, brothers Cleon and Abram, and sister Selinda Martin. Friends called at the home of Melvin Martin on Wednesday from 12:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00pm and on Thursday from 1:00-4:00pm. A private funeral service will be held at the home of Melvin Martin on Friday, April 16th at 9:00am. An outdoor service will follow the burial at Riverdale Mennonite Church, 571316 Sideroad 57, Southgate Township.
